Roger Yost Gallery Featured in Northwest Travel Magazine
March 20, 2013
Salem fine art collector and gallerist Roger Yost possesses the uncanny ability to identify unknown artists around the world who will one day step onto the public stage. The Roger Yost Fine Art Gallery houses much of the work of more than 60 collectible international artists, in addition to sculpture, art glass and ceramics, in a 7,500-square-foot exhibit space in Salem’s tallest building—a 1927 art deco structure in the heart of downtown.
Down the street, in the old Reed Opera House, now a retail mall, Yost exhibits his special collection of original art by Disney and Pixar animation studios, the largest collection of its kind in the Northwest.
Yost has become known globally among art collectors. Whether you’re buying or browsing, the gallery is open by appointment, and Yost and his staff are happy to give anyone a private tour of the historic building and the art exhibits—a must-see while visiting Salem.
