A Student of Bonaventure Puig Perucho, Carbonell’s focus was on the female figure, which he painted with great sensitivity.
He participated in National Fine Arts Exhibition held in Barcelona in 1942 and 1944, enjoyed a great friendship with the artist Dali, and was considered one of his country’s finest portrait painters.
