Henryk Radziszewski is the leading landscapes artist in his native Poland, and exhibits, teaches and conducts workshops throughout Europe.
Born in Ostrow in 1949, he painted since early childhood, and at age 14 won First Prize at the Ministry of Culture “Best Student Artwork” competition.
Radziszewski continued winning awards at The Academy of Art in Krakow. After winning a “Best of the Graduating Class” award he received a prestigious fully paid Rector’s internship, and continued his post graduate studies at the Academy.
As his skills developed, Henryk became a much sought after theatrical set designer, before re-engaging in the world of fine art. In 1987, Poland’s Ministry of Culture offered him a grant to create a series of paintings “My beautiful Country.”
As the years moved on, Henryk developed a major following with exhibits in Poland, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Holland.
Indeed, his paintings are on permanent exhibition at the “Park” gallery in Leehr-Frisenland in Germany and in the city of Krakow gallery/museum “Salon Krakowskiego Malarstva.”
