Lopez Baylon studied at the Pan-American School of Arts in his home city, and soon became one of the most popular artists in South America after exhibits in Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela.
After a successful exhibit in Montreal in 1977, Baylon emigrated to the United States and now resides in Linden, NJ.
From his travels, he has gained tremendous insight from the distinctive realities of the various countries, including France, Greece, Italy and Spain.
His work is now being exhibited in many prestigious U.S. galleries.
